This Casa Padrino table lamp is built as a classical column. The shaft is fluted all around, that is grooved vertically as on antique columns. At about two thirds of its height sits a baluster knot with fine bead mouldings that breaks the slender line.

The foot consists of a light stone cube held by a nickel plated frame. This contrast of matt stone and polished metal gives the lamp its calm: it shines without being obtrusive.

The black fabric shade is included. In relation to the narrow column it is deliberately wide and lays a clearly bounded circle of light on the surface below.

With a footprint of only 18 x 18 cm it needs little space and fits on the bedside table, the narrow console or the shelf where larger lamps no longer stand. At 67 cm high it nevertheless stays present.
